Kaua'i College Prep Weekend

College is Possible and College Success is Possible!

Proudly sponsored by The Kaua'i Board of Realtors and The Bridge: Kaua'i to College, The Kaua'i College Prep Weekend offered two outstanding FREE workshops, August 9th and 10th, 2019.

College is Possible!

With speaker Deborah Ching, this workshop taught our island youth and families the ins and outs of an affordable college education. Not to be missed in the future!

College Success is Possible!

With three outstanding university professors from across the country, this workshop focused on college-bound Freshmen, incoming High School Juniors and Seniors, and their parents.

Speakers shared how to show your college thinking, to listen and learn effectively, and to use the university's campus resources to support your success. As Leo Fulgencio wrote, "It was an amazing workshop. It helped me a lot and also gave me more an idea on what college lectures would be like and some helpful tips on how to connect with my professor."
